3RD SPECIAL GBC
CEASEFIRE SIGNED
At the 3rd Special General Border Committee, Thai Defense Minister Nattaphon Narkphanit and Cambodian Deputy PM Tea Seiha sign a new ceasefire agreement. Effective noon Dec 27. Thailand agrees to repatriate 18 Cambodian POWs after 72 hours of sustained peace. ASEAN observers are deployed to monitor the truce.
